The bathroom symbols intimacy, having a shower is an intimate act. We are stripped naked and have laid down our clothes which stand for and somehow define our indviduality. Our hair is disheveled, our skin exposed and wett. The bath towel seems to be the only prop to stage ourselves as who we think we are.
